  1. How do I complete my application for employment?

  2. What positions are available?

    We are always looking to improve our team depth, including licensed field and desk adjusters, claims examiners, and file reviewers. In addition to opportunities arising from hurricanes, tornados, wind and hail, flood events, and winter storms, we service an ever-growing number of clients for daily claims. We are currently in growth mode. The need for quality claims professionals has never been higher and is only rising.

  3. Does Mid-America offer deployment opportunities for new adjusters?

    Yes! training program that includes new adjuster training for software-specific estimating, building specifics, and ethics. We also teach best practices courses for carriers we service. With this training under your belt, you have the best chance for deployment as a new adjuster. Mid-America Catastrophe is an equal opportunity employer.

    In addition, in 2020, we will roll out Adjust U, a comprehensive course designed for those who want to learn the adjuster trade. Look for updates on this site and in our monthly newsletters.

  4. Does Mid-America offer an opportunity to work at or near my house?

    Yes. We offer daily claims field adjusting opportunities all over the United States. Some areas like Texas, Florida, Alabama, the Carolinas, and others see a constant flow of claims. Other areas are more sporadic. We anticipate a continued rise in daily claims.

  5. What will I need to purchase or bring to begin deployment?

    Our field adjusting opportunities, whether daily or catastrophe claims, require all but are not limited to the following: Ladder, tape measure (25′ and/ or 100′ tape), digital camera, laptop computer (up to date and able to run software like Xactimate), chalk for roof inspections, pitch gauge, shingle gauge, shoes for climbing roofs (e.g., Cougar Paws).

  1. How do I assign a claim to Mid-America Catastrophe?

    We accept assignments via email newclaims@midamcat.com or through Xactanalysis (if we have a shared dataset in place). You may reach our home office at 888-297-3092.

  2. How do I contact the field adjuster assigned to the claim?

    We constantly monitor email address qualitycontrol@midamcat.com in order to complete our pending audit and manage claim-specific inquiries. You can email any questions related to open or closed claims, including supplement questions to this email.

  3. Does Mid-America offer daily claim services in addition to catastrophe claim services?

    Yes. We offer claim services for all residential and commercial property and liability. You can find our coverage map for daily services here. {Insert Hyperlink for coverage map here}. Also, we would be happy to speak with you in regards to nationwide coverage for daily and catastrophe claims.

  4. What claims management system does Mid-America use?

    We utilize Xactimate and Xactanalysis as our estimating and claims management software for the adjuster and our claims management team.
