I have been using Xactimate for seven years. All of my XM8 training/experience has been self-taught. Within the first two hours of the X1 course, I had learned far more than in the past seven years. Jonathan Rice, instructor for the course, is an unbelievable wealth of knowledge. His approach and method of teaching were flawless and easily followed. I just wish I could have taken a class taught by Jonathan years ago. I strongly recommend the Xactimate X1 course or any course taught by Jonathan Rice.
Mr. Rice had beginners writing estimates on the first day of class. They felt comfortable because he took his time with them. My wife wants to help me with writing estimates. I told her she should consider taking one of his classes. The class was great, I really learned enough to help me sketch better and write estimates faster.
