Congratulations to Our Team!
Mid-America Catastrophe Services made the 2023 Inc Magazine INC 5000 list of the fastest-growing companies in the Southeast Region of the United States. Hard work had plenty to do with this accomplishment. Dedication, too. The one thing, however, that stands out to me about the way we go about our business is our consistency. We are committed to our mantra and our business model.
Our Mission
We deliver faith and trust. ~Mid-America Mission Statement
Our mission statement is just that: a statement regarding why we do what we do; our mission. It is our motto. A motto is a great thing. A motto encapsulates in a few poignant words the beliefs and ideals of a company, organization, or even an individual.
Consider the motto of the United States Marines: Semper Fidelis, which is Latin for “Always Faithful.” The Marine Corps explains their motto this way: “Semper Fidelis is the motto of every Marine – an eternal and collective commitment to the success of our battles, the progress of our Nation, and the steadfast loyalty to the fellow Marines we fight alongside.”
If we were to translate the Mid-America motto into Latin, it would read, ”Nos Fidem et Fiduciam.”
We deliver faith and trust
This is how in just ten years under current ownership and with the steadfast guidance of the leadership team, Mid-America has risen from the growing heap of IA firms to set herself apart. Recognition in one of America’s most distinguished business magazines was never the goal; it is the byproduct of delivering faith and trust to our clients, our partners, and our staff.
“Delivering faith & trust are more than words to us, it is our promise to our team and clients,” Mid-America CEO Zack Meadows said about the Inc 5000 recognition and the part our mantra played in achieving it.
Faith is belief in something based on the evidence at hand. Trust is earned over time. A growing list of insurance carriers and TPAs have put their faith in us. We wake up every day, roll up our sleeves, and go to work to earn and keep their trust.
This brings me back to consistency as the key ingredient. People believe in what they can count on. When you want someone to trust you, you show consistency.
NFL Hall of Fame and two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Roger Staubach said, “In any team sport, the best teams have consistency and chemistry.”
COO Stacy Story said, “Delivering faith and trust to our clients starts with having faith and trust in our team.”
The man universally known as The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, said, “Success isn’t always about greatness. It’s about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come.”
Without our trustworthy partners, without our trusting clients, without our trust-earning staff, the Inc 5000 honor would not have been possible. We are proud to crown our achievements with the Inc award, but consistency is the sparkling jewel in that crown.
